President’s Letter

Thank you for choosing the UIW Preparatory School at the University of the Incarnate Word for your academic studies.

UIW Prep is a unique, thoughtful and innovative online high school that welcomes students from all backgrounds. For more than 125 years, we have helped students attain their educational goals at the University of the Incarnate Word, and we are pleased to bring that sense of history and mission to UIW Prep. It is also our sincere hope that you will be strengthened in your faith by your interactions with us.

Students who complete the UIW Prep curriculum are well prepared to move on to challenging studies at the university level. In addition, UIW Prep has some exciting advantages over other online high schools:

• All students receive personalized advising and counseling for both high school and university levels
• Students can accelerate their degree and finish in three years
• You can elect to take one class or your complete diploma with UIW Prep
• Scholarships and financial aid are available for students who are full-time
• Qualified students are guaranteed admission to UIW upon completion of their diploma
• Graduates of UIW Prep who continue their studies with UIW will receive a $3,000 annual scholarship to Incarnate Word in addition to any other earned merit or need-based scholarships
• No administrative fees – all books and tools are included in the price of tuition
